MATHS FOR ALL
Raising A Mathematician (RAM) Foundation is proud to initiate Maths Circles, a place where imagination meets exploration. We would like to ignite passion for mathematics in young minds!

OUR INITIATIVE
Mathematics as a subject has immense beauty and every student can be incentivised and encouraged to enjoy it. RAM Maths Circle functions on this core belief. The focus is to bring the culture of Maths Circle to students who enjoy exploring and investigating problems in groups. Through nurturing and enrichment, we aim to empower students in becoming confident problem-solvers and critical thinkers.

WHAT IS A
MATHS CIRCLE?
Mathematical circles are a form of outreach that bring mathematicians into direct contact with pre-college students. These students, and sometimes their teachers, meet with a mathematician or graduate student in an informal setting, after school or on weekends, to circle work on interesting problems or topics in mathematics. The goal is to get the students excited about the mathematics they are learning; to give them a setting that encourages them to become passionate about mathematics.
-
To identify and nurture talented individuals with a strong aptitude for mathematics, potentially shaping the next generation of mathematicians, scientists, and researchers.
-
To provide opportunities for students to interact and learn from Mathematicians and industry experts.
-
To form a supportive and interactive community.
-
To inspire curiosity, boost confidence and self-esteem in participants.
WHY DO WE NEED MATHS CIRCLES?
